A TALK SHOW
A talk show is a TV program where a group of people discuss a topic. These programs generally go more in-depth into a topic. This class we will be preparing a talk show. For this show, we will have a panel of guests who are experts in different topics. They will present one problem related to the modern world (Ex. Teenage Pregnancy), they will explain its causes, effects, and possible solutions to this issue.
1. Choose roles.
Host: Introduce the show and the guests, and participate during the discussion about the problem.
Guests: Explain the problem and present causes, effects, and possible solutions.
2. Choose a topic and look for information on the Internet.
Family Violence – Diego / Laura / Ángela / Isabel
Drug Addiction – Daniela / Angelica / Julián / Bryan / Gazzi
Abortion – Esteban / Liney / Verónica / Tiffany
3. Describe causes and effects.
4. Think about possible solutions to this problem.
5. Prepare your presentations.
6. Present your talk show.
