Studying Abroad Project

Before you head off to a university, college or school in other country, you should take time to find out everything you can about the institution and the country you  will be visiting.

For this project, we will be preparing a "Country profile presentation" in order to know more about the country we will visit.

1. Choose a country you would like to study in.

2. Research about these topics: location, history, population, currency, weather, tourist attractions, food and festivals.

3. Write a composition (400 words max) to present your country profile. Use this composition guideline:

Country Profile Project
Name of the country
Location		Where is it located? What’s its capital?
History		Important facts in its history
Population Currency		How many people live there? What is its currency? What are the stereo types about this country?
Weather		What is its weather like during each season?
Tourist attractions		Is the country famous? Are there any famous landmarks, places, buildings, museums?
Food		What kind of food do people eat in this country? What is its typical food?
Festivals		What do people celebrate? How do people celebrate?

4. Prepare your oral presentation.
